On Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, join The Sprout Fund for the Pittsburgh Economic Opportunity Forum at the Energy Innovation Center in Pittsburgh's Lower Hill District. This community event will feature a morning of dynamic speakers and engaging activities exploring local efforts to increase economic opportunity in the Pittsburgh region. Breakfast will be available starting at 8:30 AM, and free childcare will be provided.

The Forum will include presentations and a feedback session with the three working groups supported through Sprout’s Seed Award for Economic Opportunity:
  • The City As Our Makerspace from Prototype PGH, The Black Unicorn: Library and Archive Project, University of Pittsburgh Manufacturing Assistance Center, and Ujamaa Collective
  • The Cooperative Opportunity Guild of Hazelwood from Hazelwood Initiative, Work Hard Pittsburgh, Mansmann Foundation, POORLAW, and Academy Pittsburgh
  • The Workplace Equity Challenge from Change Agency, Idea Foundry, and Sustainable Pittsburgh
