Join us to discuss and celebrate successful strategies that are elevating women in our region. Hear from a panel of women who are champions within their own organizations and initiatives. This event will also serve as a kick-off for a broader project called LEADer Certified, which aims to recognize and certify organizations who meet high standards of workplace equitability.

Julia Poepping, Founder and Principal Consultant at Copasec LLC, Board Chair at Red Chair PGH, a campaign that encourages honest conversation regarding the future of women in IT.

Caitlin McLaughlin, Director of Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards at PNC. PNC is very focused on diversity and support for women and has received numerous awards including 100 Best Companies for Working Mothers (Working Mother magazine, 2016) and Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality (Human Rights Campaign, 2017).

anupama (anu) jain, Founder of a consulting firm called Inclusant, which focuses on building local capacity for diversity by connecting individuals, organizations, and even sectors.

Jeesoo Sohn, Recruiter at Duolingo where they recently achieved a 50:50 female-male recruit ratio for graduate hires.

Moderated by Tasha Gideon, Director at Verrah, a growth agency that specializes in working with companies striving to be more relevant to women.

After the discussion, the Pittsburgh Technology Council Creative Clash, the Gender Equity Commission, and Planned Parenthood are holding a networking happy hour. We hope to see you there!
