AIGA Pittsburgh and Penguin Bookshop invite you to join us for an evening with award-winning graphic designer Bonnie Siegler, named one of the fifty most influential designers working today (Graphic Design USA). The Eight and a Half founder and Carnegie Mellon University alumni will share stories and advice from her latest book, DEAR CLIENT, while in conversation with distinguished Pittsburgh designer, Brett Yasko.

Siegler is a go-to source for the creative world and the business world alike. In her experience, a lack of good communication wastes time and money and ruins the potential for a good relationship. In all cases, both parties fail: the client doesn’t get the visual identity they want, and the creatives aren’t able to do their job. In her one-of-a-kind book, DEAR CLIENT: This Book Will Teach You How to Get What You Want from Creative People, Siegler unveils the strategies needed to foster better communication between creatives and the businesses that hire them.
