Mary C. Parker is a certified professional life coach, international leadership trainer and dialogue facilitator, and has written curriculum on race, inclusion, and leadership for students, communities, and organizations in Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Seattle, and Zimbabwe. In 2015 Mary founded Just Collaboration to support organizations and individuals to identify their values, amplify their voice, and design a more inclusive vision using coaching, consulting, and improv. Her work ranges from workshops and trainings on applying vulnerability in improv using an artist’s identity to inform character choices; applying improv to everyday microaggressions; applying improv to implicit bias and white supremacy; white supremacy in the workplace; and dismantling structural racism. Her process is rooted in experiential learning, intentional change theory, and applied improv. Mary started Facilitating for Soliya in Fall 2012 and was recently a Facilitation Fellow in Fall 2017. In her free time, Mary serves as President of Arcade Comedy Theater’s Board of Directors, performs improv comedy on Game Shark and The Collective, a member of Pittsburgh Playback Theater and Theatre of the Oppressed Pittsburgh.
